Giorgia Meloni tells the truth – and yet lies in the same breath

With her remark that the Germans committed a crime against Italians as Italians in the Fosse Ardeatine, she mocks the large number of opponents of fascism, in a sense makes them disappear. And she apologizes across the board for the truly large number of Italians who were enthusiastic supporters of Mussolini’s fascism, sometimes to the very end.
