Travis Scott extends his tour. The American rapper announced around ten European concerts on Tuesday, including evenings in Poland, Switzerland, England and a finale in Germany. He will be visiting France, for a single date at the Allianz Riviera in Nice, on July 6.

“Europe, we are on our way. I’m bringing the “Circus Maximus” across the ocean, the singer announced on his Instagram account. Let’s make this edition the best. I can’t wait to see you all!” Initially, only the American dates of Travis Scott’s tour had been announced with a major circuit in the United States and a visit to Brazil and Canada.

The 33-year-old artist has decided to extend his tour, announcing twelve European dates. The latter will begin on June 28 in Arnhem, Netherlands, and end on July 27 in Frankfurt, Germany. For his only French date, Travis Scott gave up Paris, the capital’s large venues being mobilized for the Olympic Games. His arrival in the lair of the Allianz Riviera follows that of Mylène Farmer and The Weeknd, in July 2023.

The Circus Maximus World Tour celebrates Travis Scott’s fourth album, titled Utopia. When it was released last summer, the record spent four consecutive weeks at the top of the Billboard Top 200, a ranking which lists the best album sales in the United States on a weekly basis. In February, at the 66th Grammy Awards, “La Flame” was nominated in the Best Rap Album category for Utopia. On stage, the rapper performed three songs from his latest album, including My Eyes, I know and Fe!in, his duet with Playboi Carti. The disc, made up of 19 tracks, includes collaborations with Drake, Beyoncé, The Weeknd and even Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny, whose album Un Verano Sin Ti was the most listened to of the year 2023 on the Spotify platform.
