An incident occurred in the regional express 6 near Kamen on Friday morning. A man with a “very long kitchen knife” was overpowered and arrested, said a spokesman for the federal police in Dortmund.
A 27-year-old man and a 45-year-old man had previously gotten into an argument. Two police officers who happened to be present intervened. Nobody was injured. Authorities are currently investigating whether it was an attempted homicide.
