Fifa confirmed on Friday the suspension for three years of any football-related activity of the former boss of the Spanish federation Luis Rubiales, who had surprised player Jenni Hermoso on the lips in August.
“After analyzing the arguments presented to it”, the FIFA appeal committee “decided to reject” Luis Rubiales’ appeal “and to confirm the sanction” which was “imposed on him”, announced the sports body in a press release. Thursday January 25, investigating judge Francisco de Jorge ruled that the kiss of the former boss of the Spanish federation to Jenne Hermoso was “not consensual” and requested the referral of this case to court.
