Midfielder Reda Belahyane, 19, at the end of his contract next June, was transferred by OGC Nice to Hellas Verona, 18th in Italian Serie A, the Riviera club announced on Thursday. Arriving in Nice in 2019, Reda Belahyane, previously with INF Clairefontaine, signed his first professional contract there in June 2021, and played eight matches with the club’s first team, including two this season.

According to various sources close to the matter, the amount of the transaction for this transfer amounts to 0.5 million euros, to which is added a percentage of the capital gain in the event of resale. Belahyane is the third player to leave Nice this winter, after the Moroccan international defender, Ayoub Amraoui, loaned to Nancy, in National, and the Italian goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu, who signed with the Turkish club Fatih Karagumruk.

In order to replace the latter as goalkeeper N.2 behind Marcin Bulka, Nice is awaiting the arrival of a goalkeeper, who, according to various media as well as an internal source at the club, should be Maxime Dupé, currently under contract with the Belgian club D ‘Anderlecht.
