The local festival of Rock Werchter, that since 2015 in the life was called, is this year in a new look. The organizing Altsien vzw gets the local party away from the busy festival summer and moved it to the spring.

“in Particular, for practical reasons,” explains William Exalt as a volunteer coordinator at Rock Werchter. “We want as many people as possible to achieve and that doesn’t always work in a summer where you must take into account holidays and exams.”

Therefore, it was chosen for a winter concert in hall The Box in Haacht. The brand-new location is suitable for 1.500 people, while in Rotselaar and Haacht together 30,000 people live. “We will be glad when it is full. At the voordeeltickets deliver to everyone. If it is an overwhelming success, we are going to the concept need to rethink it. At the local festival in 2017, we had close to 2,000 visitors, but there were a lot of children. The entrance is free and drinks will be sold at democratic prices.”
