Antwerp, A man of 35 years Wednesday morning fatally injured in a keukenbrand in a block of flats on the Stuivenbergplein. Three stadsmedewerkers noticed the fire and evacuated the residents to the outside.
Two stadstoezichters and a street sweeper noticed Wednesday morning a little after eight hours of fire in a building on the Stuivenbergplein. They notified immediately the fire brigade and alerted the occupants of the building. They helped all floors to evacuate. The attic they could not reach because there was too much smoke.
The fire hit the third floor, a 35-year-old man who west was. He is in critical condition at the hospital. The fire was short but strong. The fire could the fire under control but could not prevent the kitchen of the house is totally burned down. The studio is no longer habitable.
