In Brussels have skipped tens of thousands of students lessons and Lectures, to demonstrate for more climate protection. 35 000 young people had participated in on Thursday at the third protest March, the movement Youth for Climate, explained by the Belgian police on Twitter. Many of the young Belgians now want to go every Thursday, on the road, up to the policy in the fight against climate change more ambitious.
On the first protest March in Brussels three weeks ago, around 3000 students participated. Last week, there were already 12’500 – and now, once again, about three Times as many. The news Agency Belga, according to a number of students joined the protest March.
From idea to the international campaign
The demonstrations are inspired by the Swedish student, Greta Thunberg.
