Sint-Niklaas The children of the primary school, our lady Presentation in the Watermolendreef in Sint-Niklaas have their heart shown. They gave a toy of himself at refugee organisation VLOS, so that also children of refugees next week a christmas gift.

Almost a van full of toys collected school OLVP in. Both the children and the children of the primary school spent the past few weeks toy along to donate to Refugees Welcome, Sint-Niklaas (VLOS). Not a toy from the store, but something of himself. The more than five hundred students were more than excited to be in that way for their underprivileged peers. “The idea grew in each class from a large collection,” says teacher Cathy of the school. “This week we have the toys delivered to the people of VLOS. They will ensure in their turn that the toys go to underprivileged children, in the form of a christmas gift. We are very proud of this warm gesture of all children at school.”

director Nelson The Fox was watching the engagement of his young pupils. “Usually, there is money asked to the parents. Now, it was a particle of their toys. That makes it even more special. And the way the children really something good to do, is heartwarming.”

The toy was in beautifully decorated bags put into it. At Vlos they go there the next week, gifts of, to share in under vluchtelingengezinnen in Sint-Niklaas.
