On 6 april, the Gallery Kontrast in Stockholm vernissage for the exhibition ”Picture of the Year 77 years”, which collects all the images that have been awarded this award since its inception in 1942. The price is arranged by the Pressfotografernas club, with the aim to lift bildjournalistiken. In the latest photo contest included 18 classes, from nyhetsbild in the rest of the world to sports stories.
the Most times (6) has DN’s photographer Sven-Erik Sjöberg won the award – the last time in 1993, with an image of two masked men during 30 november-the celebration. DN’s photographers Roger Turesson and Paul Hansen has been awarded the award four and two times.
