For 40 years, the pensioner lives in the apartment, now the landlord wants to offer his two-year-old son a home. The process shows how bad the situation is now on the Munich housing market.

An 89-year-old man is fighting in front of the district court of Munich to stay in his apartment. The reason: A self-termination for the 36-year-old son of the owner who wants to offer his two-year-old son a home. The 89-Year-old is looking for the termination about a year ago, on flat – so far in vain.

“most are not reported,” he said in court on Monday in Munich, where the eviction action was negotiated. For more than 40 years, he lives in three rooms, the first with his wife, since her death four years ago, alone.

The process shows the difficult situation on the housing market in Munich. The 36-Year-old computer scientist living in cramped conditions with his father and receives regularly his son, lives in the mother. The apartment of his mother would be ideal, but the elderly tenant would make an extract: “That would be very bad,” said the 89-Year-old.

His lawyer, Emil Kellner is convinced that his client is, therefore, a hardship and are allowed to stay, also because it is rooted in the neighborhood and many friends. The 89-Year-old has only one wish: “That I may not even stay here, so many years, Yes.”

A decision on how to do it and the intention of the court at the 5. April.
