The alleged attacker of Strasbourg, Chekatt, is French according to media reports, dead. The station France Info reports, the 29-Year-old had been shot and killed during a police operation in the Alsatian metropolis.
The manhunt for the suspected assassins of Strasbourg, Chérif Chekatt, is apparently finished. According to information from investigators circles, the French police Chekatt shot and killed during a RAID in the district of Neudorf, to the Southeast of the Strasbourg center.
There Chekatt was on the Tuesday after the attack on the Strasbourg Christmas market fled, and a total of three people had been killed. The station France Info reports that Chekatt had hidden in a warehouse in the slaughter house district of Meinau. On the arrival of the police he had opened fire.
