For weeks, domestic political Chaos
Albania’s internal policy head: leader of the opposition, Basha, Ex stands for weeks-foreign Minister, and by unsuccessful opposition candidate Edi Rama during the last parliamentary elections in 2017, and the members of his group to boycott since February, the Parliament. US and EU criticize the Opposition
The multi-week boycott of Parliament, the Opposition – once in the post-Communist history of Albania, was convicted of Rama, as well as by the US government and the EU Commission, unanimously, as a step in the wrong direction. In an open letter to both the US and the EU Ambassador made on Friday in Tirana it clear that they considered the current government and the Parliament as the legitimate institutions.
The EU representative warned the Opposition that its boycott of Parliament and the resulting political destabilization that could endanger the way of Albania into the EU seriously.
