FC Barcelona’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is said to have had his jaw broken during a robbery at his home in Spain, according to media reports. The 33-year-old striker is threatened with a longer mandatory break of up to a month if the feared fracture of the jaw is confirmed, write the newspaper “Marca” and other Spanish media and quote the online magazine “The Athletic”.

The injury could also disrupt or even burst the negotiations about a change from the ex-Dortmund professional to Chelsea. The London club are looking for a replacement for Timo Werner, who has left for Leipzig, and Romelu Lukaku, who has joined Inter Milan.
