The participants in the weekly jongerenklimaatmarsen are, on average, 17.5 years old, come mainly from general secondary education (ASO) and see focus mainly on Green votes. This is evident from a sample of the UAntwerpen, and the VUB. It is striking that about the same amount of girls as boys participate in the marches, while women tend to be under-represented on the street.

Today in Brussels a new klimaatmars place. Also the Swedish klimaatactiviste Greta Thunberg (16) will participate in the demonstration. She traveled specially to our country. The demonstration will start at 13 hours, an hour and a half later the previous editions, at the north station and from there through the heart of the capital city to the final destination, the gare du midi to withdraw.
