Brussels-A fire in a bandencentrale in Anderlecht caused a large black plume of smoke above Brussels. The fire brigade is on the spot and the fire is now under control, reports BX1.

The fire in the Tweestationsstraat would arise are in the storage area of the bandencentrale. The Brussels fire brigade stuurder three bluswagens and a poederwagen on the spot and the flames in the meantime under control.

The cause of the fire is not yet known. According to Walter Derieuw of the Brussels fire brigade there were no injuries.

By intervention, there are currently no buses of the STIB between the stops at south station and Small Island, reports the Brussels public transport company on Twitter.
