One of the many witnesses who are summoned in the court in Herning, denmark, is fasteren to the little boy. She explained that her concern already in 2014 was so great, that she and her husband chose to make an anonymous notification to the municipality of Ringkøbing-Skjern municipality. Here they said outright that they feared that the 36-year-old woman suffered from Münchausen by proxy.

It led to Middle – and Vestjyllands Police established surveillance of the woman’s home, and she was arrested.
The accused have pleaded partially guilty to the charge. According to her defense attorney it took place under the influence of Münchhausen by proxy
