There are pieces of the story that is so thoroughly artistic inmutade that they are difficult to tackle. Mellankrigstidens Berlin is one such piece, in such a place and such a time. History answer key, and Fritz Langs with fleras expressionist shadows sweeps period in a threatening obscurity and then perforated by burleskljus, cigarette burns, revolverskott and Mackie Messer.
