Wervik In a tent in the garden of the National tobacco museum was Saturday, the official appointment of illustrator Carll Cneut (50) honorary citizen of the city of Wervik. He has lived in Ghent, but grew up on a farm in Geluwe. Almost ran the error, because Carll Cneut walked on his arrival at the glass door of the museum and held it to his nose, an open wound.
After some care, a plaster on the nose and what obtained was the programme with the delay start. “I’m just very, very hard against the door walked”, began Carll Cneut his speech. “If I had a scar to the left of it, then I will this memorable day never forgotten.” (laughs)
