In august, it happened that many people dream of, for the 39-year-old John Lassen and his beloved Miriam Kidde, when the son of Leo August came into the world.
It happened shortly before filming for the new season of ’taking hostage’ was to begin, and it has been hard, admits John Lassen.
Extra Bladet met him in Copenhagen to a talk about ’taking hostage’, which has cemented him as one of the Danish actor’s greatest talents. Here, he plays a former soldier Philip Nørgaard, and this he did in the first season so compelling that it earned him the tv industry’s answer to Cannes’ guldpalmer ‘Nymphes d’or.
– We completed the filming of season two yesterday. I can feel that I is used. It has been a really cool feature, for there is much physics and really a lot of harsh scenes. But it’s all worth it when you see the result, says John Lassen with relief in his voice and adds:
– It is a piss in the exciting history, we have made, if I do say so myself.

the Boyfriend took the train
In season two is a big part of the action on a boat in the Sound between Denmark and Sweden. Here up Philip Nørgaard in the eye of the hurricane, when he is aboard the boat, which the terrorists hijacks.
When season two has been extra hard, so is it also, that John Campbell was the father of the late summer. It has cost me effort to balance private and professional life, when, as John Lassen makes a virtue out of always give everything.
– My gf has quite clearly taken the heavy tow, and she has really been good. She knew well in advance that I am an either-or type. Either I say no to the job, otherwise I do it 100 percent, so we had forventningsafstemt things before, he explains.

– One thing to forventningsafstemme before. But it is not something else, when you stand in it with a small newborn?
– We filmed 12 hours a day for four months. Much of it was on a ferry in Frederikshavn, so when I came home after a week’s recordings and was completely smashed, so should I just take a deep breath and say to myself that now I had become a father. I have really cut everything else from this period. I’ve either been at work, learned lines, or been together with my girlfriend and son, says Johannes Lassen and stresses.
– Everything else family and friends have so been on hold the past four months.
Therefore, I am he, that now he may soon take on holidays and spend more time with the family. The last recordings for ’taking hostage 2′ is in the box, and the only thing he lacks is a bit of lydarbejde.
– To be a father is by far the wildest I’ve ever tried. On the tv, I can jump from the ferry and everything else, but the when is not this here, sense to size. It is very, very overwhelming and the wildest journey, I started out on.
at the same time becomes more enjoyable and fun, for he can more and more, and there begins to be a contact between us now. It’s really, really wild, and I’m very, very happy to be this place in my life, ” says the actor.
The second season of ’taking hostage’ will premiere this spring.
