The Maracena City Council established a number of measures to protect the municipality and prevent any contagion of Covid-19 since the declaration of a state of emergency by the Government of Spain in response to the coronavirus pandemic. These actions are still being carried out daily, including the disinfection and cleaning of streets and public areas in the town.
Every day, the municipal workers travel through Maracena to clean and disinfect the streets. This is done in order to prevent contagion and safety. This work goes beyond cleaning the streets of Maracena. It is also done in squares, parks, and at the entrances to supermarkets and health centers.
