Musikhotellet and Mariehaven has for years had a close cooperation, and it will not become less in the future.
– We have both had a slaughterhouse and a furniture factory in our city. They are closed now, so I am truly delighted to see how much we can create with culture and music. Of course we can’t save the city alone, but we help when we attract so many people, says Helge Engelbrecht, who does not even comes to change linen and make breakfast for the hotel guests in the future.
– It is raining, I did not, no. We have a chef employed and otherwise it is based on volunteers. But it is a great thing to operate a hotel, and the volunteers should not wear out. That is why we have employed some to take the heaviest tasks, says the musician, who think that the city and the hotel are missing a crucial thing to get the extra push in the development.
– We need a concert hall, and we have invested in, says Helge Engelbrecht, who, together with the board of directors of the hotel is to get the last details in place in the new selskabskontruktion.

Since the residents of the city went into the operation of the hotel in Brisbane, it has got a proper place. It now houses seven newly renovated rooms, a new kitchen and new roof. In addition, in connection with the hotel a cottage village with 10 cabins with room for four people in each.
