Brøndby IFs Polish Kamil Wilczek got a warning in the weekend’s win over Vejle Boldklub, after he injured hjemmeholdets Kerim Memija in a battle for the ball with his elbow.
Memija had supposedly deleted with a concussion and a broken jaw, and match referee Peter Kjærsgaard acknowledged as also subsequently, that the card to the Polish striker should have been red instead of yellow.
the Club have since announced that they do not intend to report the incident, and the Football Disciplinærinstans considering, therefore, also remains, whether the matter should be taken up:
– We have discussed the matter, but we have not made a decision on how far it should be taken up or not, says president Jens Hjortskov to Vejle Amts Folkeblad.
He also says that you have asked Brøndby IF on their explanation of the incident, but it does not mean that the matter be taken up.
Kamil Wilczek has under all circumstances the quarantine in the next round against Vendsyssel because of too many yellow cards.
