Dozens of demonstrators in the centre of Souillac ( south of France; nsdc) met. The French president, Emmanuel Macron was expected for the continuation of the ‘great debate’ with local elected officials. Among the demonstrators were yellow bibs, local pensioners and a few masked young people.

Shortly before the arrival of the president was a huge banner unfurled at the congress hall, where the appointment with the 600 mayors had been planned. “Manu, arrête tes macronneries”, was then read. The actual message? “We will not go to sleep have a nap by your great debate.” The police sent these demonstrators soon, because manifestations were forbidden.
