Without offending anyone, you can view well to quietly observe that the concept behind the DR’s latest reality venture sounds like something you’ve heard before.
‘A group of 12 regular people are left alone on a deserted, tropical island, only with enough water to clear itself in a day. From here you will need the on your own, find shelter, water and food and try to fend for themselves in a month’.
what makes The DR’s version of ’the Robinson Expedition’ and the government’s Lindholm-project unique, is that there will not be the camera crew or the other present on the island than the 12 participants, and will not be used to the usual antics in order to create action and excitement.
’the Experiment will be documented by the participants themselves, and there are no competitions, udstemninger or interference from the world around them’, writes DR on their website, where they called for brave participants.
It is reported that one should not need to possess special skills or knowledge within the outdoor recreation or survival in order to participate, but you must have the courage and the willingness to throw yourself into an extreme and unique experience’.
Filming will take place in march and april next year. It is not yet know when the result can be seen on DR.
