The EU economic sanctions against Russia will be extended due to the lack of progress in the Ukraine conflict. On new punitive measures the EU summit.
The doors and inside will be part of the negotiations about foreign policy and about very much money. The European budget for the years 2021 to 2027, some progress is, however, hardly. A decision on the financial package before the European elections, is now off the table. Maybe it works in a year.
Largely agreed that the summit is, however, in terms of Russia. The economic sanctions against Moscow because of the illegal occupation of the Crimea will be extended by six months, because there is the case of the agreements of the Minsk peace agreement, no progress.
Russia is to let Sailors free
The punitive measures of the EU will depend, among other things, against Russian banks and Oil and gas companies. For new sanctions because of the escalation in the Azov sea, as the Eastern EU-countries can imagine, there was no majority. Russia will, however, prompted the detained Ukrainian Sailors immediately set free.
