The purpose of company INSTEX is to help companies to circumvent U.S. sanctions if they do business with Iran. The EU believes that the payment channel is an important Foundation to secure the nuclear deal.
The EU has assured the new special-purpose company INSTEX to as a payment channel for business with Iran, their full support. The EU foreign policy chief, Federica Mogherini, emphasized by INSTEX of the “legitimate trade with Iran will allows” – an important Basis, in order to get the nuclear deal with the Islamic Republic. That might be impaired by the establishment of the special purpose company, the TRANS-Atlantic relations, not fear, she added Mogherini.
