the Uk should leave the EU Friday, 23 o’clock british time, if not the heads of state and government agreed to an extension of the deadline.
Prior to the hastemødet said prime minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen (V), that he was prepared, that Britain got a ‘longer’ extension of brexit, as the british farewell to the EU process as smooth as possible.
EU countries have already once decided to postpone the brexit. It happened at a summit in late march. After the original plan was to Britain leaving the EU 29. march of this year.
