As part of the Armilla’s “Open for holidays”, activities, the Plaza de la Constitucion de Armilla transforms into a dance floor every Sunday night.
The Armilla City Council, the Department for the Elderly, in collaboration with the Pensioner’s Home organizes open-air dancing to promote active aging for the elderly.
It’s about encouraging older people to participate in dance. There will be nine festivals this summer. They will all be held in Plaza de la Constitucion in central Madrid. It is easily accessible from any location in the city, including the Plaza de la Constitucion on Sundays in July, August, and September. From 8:45 p.m.
Armilla City Council organizes a cultural and leisure program that includes, among others, attendance at the Alhambra show Lorca et la Passion>>; to Alicun de las Torres’ swimming pool, to Salobrena, and Jose Merce’s performance in Motril on July 27th. All organized so you just need to hop on the bus.
Older people can still enjoy the activities offered by their local municipality this summer, such as musical Tuesdays or Wednesdays at the Movies Under the Stars. Both activities are held in the Virgilio Castilla Carmona Park, and are completely free.
The program allows older women and gunmen to have summer nights in the town without leaving the town. It also offers a variety of cultural activities for all ages.
