Through the last few days the aarhus museum ARoS been under attack from internet trolls who have been trying to start a shitstorm.

Trollene claiming on Twitter that the museum will carry forward the exhibition ’the Kitten’, where you will blend a kitten, but it rejects the museum totally.

the Story is fake news, and ARoS itself has the answer in several of the spreads, but it can actually prove to be an extremely bad strategy, says the expert in shitstorme William Atak.

– As a communication expert, I believe that ARoS are doing the right thing by going out and respond to the various tweets. But I take the glasses, looking at the digital footprint, is it very wrong to do it, he says to Ekstra Bladet and elaborates:

– When they participate in the debate, recognizing the history. Google don’t understand yet the difference between what is fake and what is genuine news. If it is here the story gets range and in Google’s eyes gain strength, you can potentially find that when you google ARoS about a half a year, and the story is forgotten, springing the news on the ARoS and the cats up again.

When you talk about fake news, there are three forms of fake news. There is the planned and ordered the storm, the headless trolderier, and the more advanced spam bots.

– Without that I know the exact background to it here, so I think that it’s just pranks. But even if it’s pranks, there are some factors which say that those who are behind it know what they are doing, says William Atak, that even supervisor companies in shitstorme.

– If there is anything in the whole world, which creates a stir, is the animals. It is, therefore, that cats – and hundevideoer is one of the most viewed on the web. They know that it is a beast that everyone will love.

Nevertheless, assessing the shitstorm-expert, that it is not top-backers, one has to make.

– The thing that amazes me the most is that it takes place on Twitter. For if the planners knew little about it, had they done it on facebook or Instragram. Had I would have hit on someone, it should happen over facebook.

most of The tweets have the same wording. It all started when the profile Jacob Petersen put this message up:

‘Kittens? Blenders? Appalled by the possible new exhibition at the Aros by the name of ‘Kitten’

Tweetet spawned acidic comments, and other fake profiles shared the story forward:

‘Crazy kitten in a blender-exhibition!!! Wild things. Andreas White, and Superflex cooperate at Aros aarhus kunstmuseum in Denmark. March 1, place a mark in the calendar ….’

But none of the spreads yet gone viral.
