Launched with the silhouette cabriolet in a limited edition “la Prima” now exhausted, the 500 Electric is now available in version 3-door hatchback. Based on the new platform developed for models, zero-emission, this new 500 inherits the latest developments in stylistic inaugurated by the cabriolet. Like the convertible, the 3-door hatchback was first launched in the run-limited “la Prima”. It inherits from the three body colours of the cabriolet – Ocean Green (pearly) recalling the sea; Grey, mineral metallic evoking the Earth; celestial Blue in homage to heaven. The endowment of series, and the careful finish distinguished by circles of glass, chrome, wheels, 17-inch diamond, sunroof panoramic glass, and a leather upholstery with embossing “Fiat”.

The great novelty of this 500 nests under the hood with the transition to the traction chain 100 % electric. The technology is the same as the cabriolet unveiled last march, is based on an electrical machine from 87 kW (118 hp) powered by a lithium-ion battery 42 kWh. The top speed is electronically limited to 150 km/h to preserve the autonomy announced to 320 km, depending on the cycle WLTP. With the fast charger 85 kW equipping the 500 Electric, just a 5-minute charge to recover 50 km radius of action. According to Fiat, 35 minutes to recover 80 % of the capacity of the battery with the fast charger. The 500 Electric comes standard with the Easy system Wallbox that allows for a charging power of 7.4 kW. The model also comes with a cable, Mode 3, for a load up to 11 kW via the public network.
