the british newspaper The Guardian gives just one out of five stars to the large-scale action movie with dane as the assassin.
In the notification of the film, which is directed by Swedish Jonas Ã…kerlund, is putting The Guardian emphasis on the, according to them, both comic and poor farmers.
– the ‘Polar’ belongs in the bottom of the list of movies about hitmen. Each murder is drawn ridiculously prolonged and inadequate and stupidly designed, writes The Guardian, among others.
In the film, plays Mads Mikkelsen, the world’s best assassin Duncan, who would like to retire. It allows the employer and therefore sends younger assassins out to kill Mads mikkelsen’s character.

in addition to The Guardian sabers the u.s. underholdningsmedie Variety and the medium Vulture also the film down.
– This heinous action movie is vulgar and perverse. There is nothing beautiful about the writing Variety, not handing out stars.
– ‘Polar’ is a deplorable and sad movies scraped together from the bottom of the post-Tarantino-90’s-the exploitation, writes Vulture, nor does it give stars.
On the website metacritic.com that gathers reviews from a variety of media, it looks not too good for Mads Mikkelsen, the film that achieves a score of 18 out of 100 and ranking ‘overwhelming dislike’ the (overwhelming dissatisfaction)
On Rotten Tomatoes, which also collect the reviews at the time of writing compiled 11 negative and zero positive reviews of the ‘Polar’.

the Film is based on the graphic novel ‘Polar: Came from the cold’ by Victor Santos, which is published on the webcomic-publishing house Dark Horse. ‘Polar’ is set to premiere on Netflix today.
the 53-year-old Mikkelsen, who at home is known for roles in the great Danish comedies, and dramas, is abroad known as a serial killer and cannibal in the tv series ‘Hannibal’ and as the terrifying villain Kaecilius in superheltefilmen ‘Doctor Strange’.
