More than a half year wait is over for the Movistar-rider Jaime Rosón, who on Friday received its judgment of The International Cykelunion, the UCI.

the Four-year quarantine sounds on, after the UCI at the end of June last year had analyzed back fluctuations in the spaniard biological passport way back in January of 2017, when he drove on the team Caja Rural.

One such fluctuation indicating the use of illegal means, and at the time was 26-year-old Rosón suspended by Movistar, who on Friday with the verdict confirmed that he has now been fired.

‘Abarca Sports (the company behind the cycling team, red.) informs that it has initiated procedures in relation to stop the contract with Rosón, which was already provisionally suspended.’

‘Abarca Sports also want to stress that the time of the found of the irregular values in the Rosóns biological passport, is dated to a year, before he started on our team.’

Rosón, having previously been a Spanish Under 23 champion, was picked to Movistar in 2018 after impressive results at Caja Rural. With the Spanish large groups, he reached to win etapeløbet the Vuelta a Aragon, but he downloaded the top-rankings in the Tirreno-Adriatico and the Volta ao Algarve.

It is not apparent from the UCI’s ruling, when the rider’s quarantine to take effect. But is it from the date of his provisional suspension, he may run the race again at the end of June 2022.
