Although vintergækkerne bristle and witnesses of spring, it becomes difficult to notice the good weather in the coming week. A new forecast shows that in march will be unusually wet.
Just in the coming week we can risk up to 60 millimetres of rainfall, which exceeds what you would normally see on a whole the month of march.
– We can expect much rain in the coming week. Spring is normally a very dry time, and therefore it is unusual that we get so much rain, that it will remind you of autumn, says Jesper Eriksen, who is on duty meteorologist at DMI.
on Average, there is 46 millimeters of rainfall in the month of march and thus spring known to be the driest season of the year at all.
– This march is not one that will go down in the history books, but it is unusual to see such weather at this time of year, he says.
Despite the rainy days the danes can warm themselves by the hot temperatures we have had, and will continue, and that all the days in the next week will be between four and ten degrees.
– We will experience a depression, which will come from the southwest and nationwide. No region will be spared, but at present, it is difficult to say who will be the hardest hit, explains Jesper Eriksen and stresses that it is still too early to say anything unique about when we will get a normal spring weather back.
– We can’t say anything about when it will return yet. What we know now, is that it will be a wet month of march.
