Zelzate In a block of flats on the Zelzaatse Groenplein is Sunday afternoon around 15 hours an 18-year-old man died in suspicious circumstances. It was going to be a death after an overdose. The owners of cafe The Groenplein saw how someone, after the death tried pills to flush in their toilet. “A luck that we found them and have no child”, what it sounds like.
“We saw someone suddenly run away. A little later came an ambulance and a MOSQUITO”, says Jurgen van café The Groenplein. “We quickly saw that it is not looking good. A young man talked to us outside. He told us that a friend, an overdose of ecstasy had seized, 2,5 pills. She saw him pale as death was, they had him still in the shower, but nothing helped.” The emergency services could only the death establishing, after which the police was called and the public prosecutor of East-Flanders, a law doctor appointed. The law doctor and the laboratory came to the spot to investigate.
