The Astronaut Gerst arrived after half a year on the International space station ISS is on the earth again. He landed, together with two of his colleagues with a Soyuz capsule in the Kazakh Steppe.
After more than six months in the International space station, German Astronaut Alexander Gerst returned to earth. A Soyuz capsule with Gerst and two other astronauts landed in the Kazakh desert. On Board the NASA astronaut Serena Aunón-Chancellor and Russian cosmonaut Sergey Prokopyev.
“the Crew of The manned Soyuz MS-09 has returned safely to earth,” said the Russian control center. The capsule landed shortly after 6.00 PM Central European time. They had undocked three and a half hours earlier from the ISS.
After the landing, showed Live images of the American space Agency, NASA, has been worn Gerst, the Soyuz capsule on a seat. He laughed, and the hat sat up. “I am pleased to home to fly and see my family,” he said. “But the Mission is not over yet, we still need to evaluate the results.”
