With a massive state support program, the Federal Ministry of Economics wants to build up production capacities for solar and wind power plants in Germany again. In particular, one wants to reduce the dependency of the energy transition on the Chinese solar industry, which currently still dominates the world market by a long way.
Additional money in the federal budget has not yet been planned. It shouldn’t be cheap if all the vague plans that Habeck presented on Tuesday are actually implemented.
