A grown man in Leicester, England have been circumcised in the context of a gross error in a hospital, where the staff came to swap two patients papers.
the Man was initially to just have made a kikkertundersøgelse of his bladder. But he ended therefore up with a serious surgical intervention, where he was circumcised.

The serious error was revealed in a report. there are made of ‘Leicester City Clinical Commissioning (CCG), who had gathered the most serious ‘should never happen’cases from the University Hospital in Leicester in 2018.
The amazing error occurred early in 2018, because the man was mistaken for another patient, who should be circumcised in september last year.

another patient was operated on for a hip implantation into the wrong side of the body.
A male patient was mistakenly operated on, because he had the same name as another man.
A cotton swab was left in the nose of a child who had had something removed tissue at the back of the nose.
Moira Durbridge, director of safety at the hospitals in Leicester have said the following about the case:
‘We are very sorry of what has happened with our patients. And of course, we have personally said sorry to them all.’
