France is the champion in western christianity and most, after the team on Sunday won the final against Russia with a 24-21.
It is France’s first european championship gold medal ever.
Verdensmestrene faced the olympic champions in the final.
Thus ended the EM in the same way as it started. Just like in the opening match, it was the host nation of France, there stood on the one half, and Russia on the other.
But unlike EM’s first match could France pull out victorious out of the showdown and take guldmedaljerne on the neck.
But it was not easy.
the Pace was high from the start of the match, and a sea of scores strokes behind the runway two goalies.
Players from the two teams showed a tremendous overview, and it gave an extremely well-acted handball match where the two teams went along through the entire first half.

the Match had a Danish influence in the form of the Danish dommerduo with Line Hesseldal Hansen and Karina Christiansen.
The two came in the centre at the start of the second half, as they gave a direct red card for the French star Allison Pineau, when she hit the Russian goalkeeper on the side of the head under a penalties.
Pineau left the pitch in tears, and it lighted the great hjemmepublikum in the hall in Paris even more.
They spilled on the track, where Alexandra Lacrabere barely ten minutes into the half-time sent France ahead by three goals.
At the other end was Laura Glauser, who had replaced Amandine Leynaud in the French goal, better fat.
But the match lost its flow after the red card, and several bugs sneaked in on both teams.
the Russians came again quite close to France, 16-17, in France once again retreated from, and with ten minutes again was the host nation ahead with a 21-18.
The distance managed France to keep the very end, and so could the French women break out in cheers along with the large hjemmepublikum, and the party in Paris could begin.
