Bruges, about fifty students of the Bruges school ‘The Tandem’ have this morning enjoyed the blanket of snow. The lessons should once depart for a half an hour of snow fun along the Ramparts. “We could demand of the students did not refuse,” says miss Inge De Meyer.
The third-and fourth-grade students from Freinetschool The Tandem rubbed themselves this morning in the hands: the snow fell, pouring from the sky and the teachers showed their readiness to the planned swimming lessons to drop for skiing. Fifty students donned warm clothes in the direction of old Ramparts and enjoyed it with the fullest of the first snowfall of the year. Especially the sleigh proved to be very popular with the kids and teachers. “Everyone enjoys to the fullest,” smiles miss Inge De Meyer. The children themselves amuseerden meanwhile to the bone and slid from the mill to full speed down. One baby was less fortunate: just now he walks on crutches. Could it be that clearly not hurt. After half an hour was the fun for the pupils over and they had to re-direction to classroom.
