The motto of the congress was “Recover the essence and primary care”. This meeting brought together 1,000 people, 500 in person, who exchanged impressions with health professionals working in this field. They also listened to speeches from renowned speakers.

Felisa Galvez (president of Asanec) expressed her delight at the opportunity to host this type of meeting again in person. She emphasized that “we have had the chance to expose the need for primary care to claim reinforcement of the health care service, and an increase in resources to enhance the pillars o primary care like health promotion and prevention”

Evangelina Martinez (the president of the organizing group) highlighted the importance of this group in primary health care as well as new figures created by the pandemic.

Gabriel Amat, the mayor of Roquetas De Mar, recognized the efforts of these health professionals, “who have proven their worth and qualifications over these two years of the pandemic.” He also pointed out that the congress is a platform for professionals from diverse fields to share research, studies, and advances. The results are beneficial to society.

Angeles Martinez, Vice President of Provincial Council, and Deputy for Social Welfare was thanked by the Provincial Council, Asanec, and all the nurses for hosting their congress in Almeria. She also recalled that Roquetas De Mar hosts large events like this, which is a way for her to show her support for the health of all Almeria. This congress is important because it celebrates the two very difficult years we have been through during the pandemic. It also highlights the outstanding work that the entire group, as well as the other health workers, have done for the greater good of society.

Juan de la Cruz Belmonte was the regional delegate for Health and Families of the Junta de Andalucia. He influenced the work of nurses during the pandemic. This highlighted the importance of the profession to the Andalusian healthcare system. . Belmonte congratulated Belmonte for organizing such an enriching event in our province.
