We had been invited up to a small ‘cosy arrangement’ with 3 of our good friends, so we were 5 people total in the room. The atmosphere was quite quiet and calm in the room.

– We heard a little music on a computer and we had no complaints got. Everything was as it should, we conducted ourselves according to the rules. My friend and I had just drunk a glass of the evening.

suddenly my friend Celina, 19 years old, feel that she is getting a little uncomfortable in the body.

– We choose to put ourselves quietly down in the lounge area, to call for her father to be picked up from the hotel.

so begins Maria D a letter to the nation! about a very unpleasant experience she had with a friend on Saturday night. 00.00-02.00 at a hotel in Copenhagen. For although her friend was worse and worse, screamed for help and begged for an ambulance, stood the receptionist just staring. And understand she does not. Her letter – as Adina Hotel commenting below – continues namely as follows:

Suddenly says Celina me that her body begins to boil very violently, and she needs water. I raise me up to retrieve some water, but I am not very far before she cries out ‘help’ and throw her overtrøje (which is very unusual because she is a bashful girl).

– I run so going to ask what is happening and to help her. I can see she starts to lose consciousness. Her body is totally hot, she is boiling. Her face began quietly to be completely white and her eyes roamed.

– I had a little bit of contact with her where she says ‘I can’t feel my own body, call an ambulance’. I’m calling with the same 112.

She lay on the floor and mess around while, where she says I must lie me down with her. Thinking it gave a “kind of” reassurance for her, that I chose so to do.

I stood absolutely alone in this situation with Celina who was about to lose consciousness completely and the ambulance in the phone.

– Now we get to the part I’m in shock over the.

While all this was going on in the lounge, stood the receptionist just looked at. He ignored completely the situation’s severity.

– Celina get an eye on him for a moment, and throws herself of the floor with stretched arms towards him, while she screams ‘help’, after that fall she’s on again (this will be clear to see on the monitoring).

– I’m trying to say to him that he must help and fetch water, or call someone (to do something). He was ice cold in the eyes and was just to stand and look at us (who was lying on the floor) and asked, ‘what roomnumber do you have?’

– It was seriously the only thing he was interested in. Which room number we had?

– I was saying he should help, but he just returned the back and went back to reception and left no thing !!!!

– I was in shock!!!

– It ends up with that Celinas father arrives. When the father arrives and sees the receptionist nothing does, he gets angry and shouts ‘why do you do nothing’ – just like I tried.

instead, the receptionist went to fetch a guard, to get us kicked out????

– But before we get kicked out arrive the ambulance with the ground, and my friend was hospitalized, writes to Maria, and the Adina Hotel has – even if they do not fully recognize the process – subsequently given an apology:

I have now reviewed overvågningsvideoen and discussed the incident with our receptionist, who had the guard that night.

– We can not absolutely recognize the course as it is described, but no matter, we must of course always provide help and support as well as we can.

– the Situation has therefore given rise to, that I have turned it internally with the staff, and everybody is informed about that in the future, we must be vigilant to provide the necessary assistance, if there occurs one or other critical situation.

– We very much regret the handling of the current case, and also have given an unreserved apology to the family (Celinas father), writes Torben Lund Jensen, General Manager of the Adina Apartment Hotel Copenhagen.
