The livstidsdömde 36-year-old attacked a fellow-prisoner with a meat thermometer at the Hallanstalten south of Södertälje. The incident occurred on högsäkerhetsfängelsets title Fenix, where several dangerous våldsbrottslingar serving his sentence.
Inbladade persons stated that the thermometer was hidden in a pappersbehållare on a wall in the fängelseköket. It pointed the object was wrapped in a gauze bandage for better grip.
