At a concert by rapper Kid Cudi in Berlin’s Verti Music Hall on Saturday evening, a man jumped from the upper seats into the interior. The 25-year-old fell on two people who were slightly injured, the police said on Sunday.
The man was taken to hospital with serious head and back injuries. The “B.Z.” had reported first. It was initially unclear why the man jumped off the parapet at the rap concert. “We have no evidence of suicide,” said a police spokeswoman.
A fire department spokesman said on Sunday that 16 rescue workers with six cars were on site to treat the injured. The police are investigating for negligent bodily harm against the 25-year-old.
