CEIP Mariana Pineda de Huetor Vega created a miniature ‘Juveandalus’ today to mark the end of school and start of holidays. With the support of their families, twenty workshops covering a variety of topics were developed this morning. These included crafts, water games and body pressure. They are all run by parents who are involved in the education community. The day was free for students to have fun, with no tutors and the only guideline being not to repeat the workshop. Each student’s cardboard card reflected this. The workshops were lively and had lots of participants. Each workshop was designed to allow as many girls and boys as possible to pass through it.

The workshops were able to take advantage of the excellent temperature for this season and closed at one in afternoon. There was also the long-awaited foam party along the school track. Only students and adults who worked in the workshops were allowed to get wet. However, it was a wonderful attraction that is open to all who wish to enjoy this moment of joy at the Hueteno school.

The AMPA Veleta organized a social meal and bar for teachers, families, and schoolchildren to enjoy until the end. We have resumed the old farewell before covid so that the children have a great time and that is how it has been explained to new families. It’s a way for children enjoy their final course,” says Mariana Pineda, Pilar Gómez Gallego, director of CEIP Mariana Pineda.

The festive atmosphere does not end on Friday. Relatives and others from the community were able last Wednesday and Thursday to enjoy the theatre and dance activities on the La Nava Social Center’s stage to celebrate the graduation of sixth-form and fifth-grade students. The emotion of seeing his graduation band was always present.
