Conor McGregor is the central subject of an investigation in Ireland after a woman has notified him of a sexual assault.
It writes the New York Times, which has spoken with four sources familiar with the investigation.
McGregor, who earlier on Tuesday announced that he retires from MMA-the sport is not charged in the case. At least not yet.
The notified incident should have taken place at the Beacon Hotel, which is located in the outskirts of Dublin, where McGregor is often going to.
Irish police will not confirm that the case of Conor McGregor, but says through a spokesman only that there is a ‘unnamed athlete’.
