Angela Merkel has succeeded during their short Athens visit in just 24 hours: she has shown Greece for its austerity and reform course, the recognition of which has earned the country. And the Chancellor has been able to explain many of the Greek population that they have as well as many other German respect for the self-discipline, the capacity for suffering and the perseverance of the Greek people during the crisis.
