A muslim soldier will sue the u.s. army for allegedly forced her to take her hijab in front of his soldiers, colleagues.
In an interview with Yahoo told Cesilia Valdonivos for about a week ago that she has been subjected to ’extremely hateful’ behavior because of its muslim identity.
– I was called a terrorist. I was called ISIS. I hear comments that I’m the reason why 9/11 took place. There is much anger and enmity, she told in the interview that the past week has gone round the world.
She says that she is back in June 2018, had obtained permission of his colonel to wear a hijab along with her uniform.
But last month, she submitted a complaint to the u.s. army ligestillingskontor, after her parent allegedly grabbed her arm, pulled her out of the geleddet and forced her to remove hijabben in front of all her colleagues.
‘I felt embarrassed and in a way religiously raped’, she wrote in an email to the legal organization, the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, which represents her in the case.
Cesilia Valdonivos, who converted to Islam in 2016, telling ABC that the problem began last year when she was in Afghanistan on his third deployment. Here, she says, she was, among other things, called ’the girl with the cap’ and ‘ninja’ when she walked in her black hijab.

Her attorney, Mikey Weinstein, who is the founder and president of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, tells now to the ABC that they have plans to sue. Right now is the time to assess whether they should do so by sending a complaint to the U. S. Commission on Civil Rights, or whether they shall sue sue in Denver, where Cesilia Valdonivos servant, or in Virginia, where the Pentagon is located.

In yet an official opinion in the beginning of this week confirmed the Fort Carson have received a ligerettigheds-complaint in connection with the case, where Cesilia Valdonivos was asked to remove her hijab.
Cesilia Valdonivos and the lawyer reckon with, it may take a few weeks before they evaluate how the legal approach the matter.
