4000 metres team has been developed a special helmet, which can help to ensure important margins in the hunt for a WORLD cup medal.
It is developed in cooperation with Team Denmark præstationsingeniør, Andreas Top Adler, and he is not in doubt that the helmet can be crucial.
– The new helmet makes a significant difference and have a measurable and visible effect, he says in a press release from Team Denmark.
He will, however, not out with, exactly how much faster the helmet has done for the riders.
the Helmet is designed so that it provides the least possible drag, and it has been thoroughly tested along with other equipment and adapted to each rider.
One of the riders in the 4000 metres team, Lasse Norman Hansen, is not particularly crazy about the look of the new helmet, but as long as it can help on the pitch, he is satisfied.
– In the tests we have seen, it is fast enough that it makes up for that, it is a bit ugly, he says to TV2 Sport.
Denmark comes to the WORLD cup with five herreryttere, all are in the game for a place in the 4000-meter team.
In the first place, Casper Folsach, Lasse Norman Hansen, Julius Johansen and Rasmus Lund, who is going to run, while Niklas Larsen is a reserve.
Amalie Dideriksen, Julie Leth and Trine Schmidt is with with women. Here, Denmark in cooperation, points race, omnium and scratch with Dideriksen to start in all three disciplines.
