Tears flowed in silence in Christchurch today, while the names of the fifty victims of the terrorist attacks two weeks ago were read aloud during a large-scale memorial service for the victims. The service was attended by tens of thousands of people, among whom prime minister Jacinda Ardern.
The service took place in North Hagley Park just a few hundred metres away from the Al Noor mosque, where exactly two weeks ago, dozens of people were killed after a right-extremist death and destruction sowed. In total were about twenty-five thousand people on the memorial down. Among them were the families of the fifty fatalities and survivors of the attacks.

The service was in the country, broadcast live and in several major cities could be in group to consider the commemoration. During the reading of the names of the fifty fatalities by people from the muslim community, you could hear a pin drop in the packed park. Tears flowed in silence, people bows reverently the head, and took each other’s hands, hugged each other.
